type of sentence

สวัสดีค่ะนักเรียนที่น่ารักทุกคน วันนี้เรามาต่อกันด้วยเรื่องของประโยคกันนะคะ

Type of Sentence แบ่งออกเป็น 4 แบบดังนี้

1. Simple sentence คือ ประโยคเดี่ยวพื้นฐาน ซึ่งประกอบด้วย 1 อนุประโยค (clause)

Sentence = 1 Independent Clause

Example: The boy was happy. (1 clause)

2. Compound Sentence คือ ประโยคผสม ซึ่งเป็นการผสมรวมกันของอนุประโยคเดี่ยวตั้งแต่ 2 อนุประโยคเชื่อมต่อกัน โดย Co-ordinating Conjunctions เช่น พวก FANBOYS

** F = For

    A = And

    N = Nor

    B = But

    O = Or

    Y = Yet

    S = So

Sentence = Independent Clause + Independent Clause

Example: I went home because I was tired. ( 1 Ind + 1 Dep)

3. Complex Sentence ประโยคความซ้อน ซึ่งเป็นการซ้อนรวมกันของ 1อนุประโยคเดี่ยวซึ่งทำหน้าที่เป็น Main Clause กับอนุประโยคซ้อน ตั้งแต่ 1 ขึ้นไป ที่ทำหน้าที่เป็น Subordinate Clause ในการอธิบายความของประโยค Main Clause ปกติประโยคประเภทนี้จะเชื่อมต่อกันโดย Subordinate Conjunctions (เช่น if, that, because, so that, although, as, before, Relative Pronouns ทั้งหลาย เช่น Who, Whom, Which,…)

Sentence = Independent Clause + Dependent Clause

Example: I went home because I was tired. ( 1 Ind + 1 Dep)

4. Compound-Complex Sentence ประโยคผสม ประโยคความซ้อน เป็นการผสมรวมกันของอนุประโยคเดี่ยวตั้งแต่ 2 ประโยคขึ้นไป ซึ่งทำหน้าที่เป็น Main Clause ทั้ง 2 อนุประโยค ทั้งยังมีการแทรกโดยอนุประโยคซ้อน ตั้งแต่1 ขึ้นไปอีกทีที่ทำหน้าที่เป็น Subordinate Clause ในการอธิบายความของประโยค Main Clause

Sentence = Independent Clause + Independent Clause + Dependent Clause + ...

Example: As soon as I arrived I met my friend and he told me where he was going.

            (1 Dep + 1 Ind + 1 Ind + 1 Dep)

* Dep = Dependent Clauses

* Ind = Independent Clauses

สรุป Sentence

1.   Simple Sentence คือ ประโยคธรรมดาทั่วไป

2.   Compound Sentence คือ ประโยค Simple Sentence 2 ประโยคมาเชื่อมรวมกัน

3.   Complex Sentence คือ ประโยคที่มีอย่างน้อย 1 ประโยคทำหน้าที่เป็นประโยคใจความหลัก และมีอีก 1 ประโยคทำหน้าที่เป็นประโยคใจความรอง

4.   Compound - Complex Sentence คือ Compound Sentence ผสมกับ Complex Sentence นั่นเอง
